Welcome to Skills & Learning Adult Community Education
Now is the perfect time to learn something new. Our staff aim to give you the best possible learning experience when you take up a course with us. We are supporting thousands of learners each year to improve their skills, employment prospects and wellbeing.
A partnership agreement between Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council and Dorset Council exists for a single joint adult learning service which created Skills & Learning on 1 May 2013.
We are a customer focused organisation and are working with local communities, partner organisations and employers to provide opportunities to change people’s lives for the better through learning.

Throughout the year we run additional Information Sessions, workshops and taster events so keep an eye on our website for more opportunities.
We have courses for those who want to feel more comfortable in the digital world and those who are looking to improve their skills for work. You could give your employment prospects a boost by attending one of our many FREE Job Clubs and Employment and Learning Hubs. Our dedicated tutors can share their years of expertise and experience with you, inspiring you to take your skills to the next level.
Joining in with others on our courses provides valuable support, and aids both your personal and professional development.
