Multiply is a national scheme funded by the government providing learning opportunities to improve maths and number skills in the UK population.
Courses have been designed to improve practical number, money skills and confidence at home and at work for adults (minimum age 19).
Confidence is the key word as anxiety around maths has been found to be the biggest barrier to people improving their numeracy skills, despite a large proportion of the UK population struggling with the basics. Multiply workshops are supportive and friendly, helping people to overcome their confidence issues and develop a positive mindset when it comes to numbers.
Multiply courses are:
- Fully funded and therefore free to you
- Practical, confidence-building workshops led by our expert tutors
- Flexible and tailored to specific needs
- Delivered where you are, in our centres and online
- Designed to progress onto qualification courses where appropriate
We work with:
Anyone in Dorset who is 19 or older and has maths skills below Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE grade C/4). We can work with people who have a Level 2 qualification as long as we have evidence they are no longer working at this level in maths.

Interested in becoming a Numeracy Champion for your organisation?
If you work with adults in your:
