During this course you will receive both group and individual support from a qualified teacher to learn the basics of hand embroidery skills, a range of stitches and beading techniques - including applique. Ideal for the complete beginner. Try out stitches on different fabrics and using different thread types. Learn about some different types of world embroidery.
Although this is not machine embroidery you will be using your sewing maching to explore different types of stitiches.
Topics that will be covered include:
- Threading and using different stitches on your sewing machine
- Exploring using decorative techniques using hand sewing and machine sewing.
All our courses are made up of elements of speaking & listening, reading and writing, and you will work using these elements throughout the course.
