What the course is about
Learn how to make your photos look amazing with this Adobe Lightroom photo editing course. Our fully qualified tutor will help and support you as you learn about such things as:
- Fixing basic issues like exposure, white balance and crop
- Editing just parts of your photo with brushes and filters
- Organising and be able to easily find photos in Lightroom
- Using sharpening tools to make your photos look better
- making your digital photos look better than ever!
Some of the skills you gain on this course could help increase your opportunities for employment or working within the community. Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.
Practice at home and completion of homework is advisable to enhance your learning experience.

There are no pre-course admission sessions or interviews in order to enrol on this course.
Please ensure you have read and understood our STEPS guidance in order to accurately enrol upon the correct level course for you.
Assessment of progress, tests, exams
Your tutor will work with you to develop a Personal Development Plan (PDP) which will help you review your progress towards achieving your goals during the course.
There is no qualification or examination attached to this course.
Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
This is a Beginners course and anyone is welcome. You will be expected to have no experience in the subject or very basic knowledge of the subject, including some memory of the subject from school.
You will need to be able to have and use a digital camera for capturing images to use within this course.
Materials and costs
You will need a digital camera, notebook, pen and A4 folder.
During the first session your tutor may discuss additional materials to bring if possible.
