In this course you will be guided through a mid-impact aerobic session to disco music. The session takes place in a darker room to replicate a disco - no pressure to complete all the exercises and singing along to the tunes is allowed! Please note there will be flashing lights.
All levels of fitness are welcome as steps can be adapted to suit. There is no floor work, but one track will involve squats and/or lunges.
Each week will include
- Gentle warmups
- Learning a variety of basic steps
- Exercises to focus on different parts of the body eg upper body - arms, hands, shoulders.
- Cool down and stretches
Learning takes place in a friendly setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.
This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
