Family Learning: Festive Chocolate Making for Fun - Parents and Children
This fantastic workshop is for parents/carers/Grandparents and their children below the age of 16 years. This amazing chocolate workshop will give you the chance to have fun and make new friends as you get to grips with all things chocolaty.
What the course is about
Have a great time making loads of different chocolate things including lollipops, cakes and truffles to take home and share.
Learn a bit about the history of chocolate, how it is made and do a chocolate tasting to see if you can tell the difference between different types of chocolate.
Have a go at quizzes and games all based around chocolate ….. Mmmmmm
Lots to do and lots of fun to be had!
Pre-course information session or interview
This workshop is for parents/carers/Grandparents and their children below the age of 16 years.
There are no Pre-course information sessions or interviews.
Assessment of progress, tests, exams
This is a fun and festive workshop and you and your child/children will be supported and encouraged by fully trained professional teachers in a safe a welcoming environment.
There are no tests or exams within this workshop.
Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
This course is for parents/carers/Grandparents and their children below the age of 16 years. Only 2 children per adult. Adults are responsible for their child/children throughout this workshop.
Although this is a festive (Christmas) workshop, it is not a religious lesson and those who do not mark the Christmas holiday will be welcome.
No previous experience is required.
Materials and costs
There are no additional materials or costs once you have enrolled onto this workshop as all materials will be provided.

Where learners do not attend the first session, without having given prior notice, Skills & Learning reserve the right to offer the place on the course to another learner; you will not be eligible for a refund it it is outside of the terms outlined in our cancellation policy.
Fully funded learners: if you have been offered a fully funded place on a course and no longer require it, you must advise us before the course starts so that your place can be offered to someone else. We reserve the right to withdraw future offers of fully funded places if you regularly do not start or complete funded courses.
Home study: you will be required to do significant study at home between sessions to assist with your learning and progress.
Proof of identity: please bring photographic ID and your National Insurance number with you to your first session. You will also need to provide it for any external examinations you take.
Off-site activities: with some courses, there may be the opportunity for off-site enrichment activities at additional cost, for example: gallery, museum or exhibition visits. Where this is an integral part of the course, your tutor will discuss the arrangements with you during your induction.
