A workshop to learn how to create a beautiful traditional festive wreath to hang on a door or place on the ground.
What the course is about
During this workshop you will receive both group and individual support in order to help you learn more about making a traditional holly wreath.
You will be shown how to design and then make a wreath suitable for you to display over the Festive Season.Your tutor will give you support and tips to create a beautiful traditional holly wreath, with accessories and a bow, which can be hung on a door or placed on the ground.
Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.
This course offers an avenue for creative pursuits, improving your health, confidence and wellbeing.

Assessment of progress, tests, exams
There is no qualification or examination attached to this course.
Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
This is a workshop, and anyone is welcome to join and learn basic skills in the subject. This course is ideal for anyone with or without experience of flower arranging, and who would like to explore how to use their creative skills for a Festive decoration in a friendly and supportive group setting.
Materials and costs
All materials and equipment will be provided for you to make and take home a traditional holly wreath.
If you have any accessories that you would like to include in the design or hardy foliage, please bring them along.
Tools will be available to use during the workshop, but if you have your own and wish to use them, please bring them along (clearly labelled). This is at your own risk.
You should not wear open toed shoes in the classroom, for your own safety. You may wear an apron to protect your clothing. If you suffer from known allergies to flowers or foliage, we advise you to bring protective gloves.

Off-site activities: with some courses, there may be the opportunity for off-site enrichment activities at additional cost, for example: gallery, museum or exhibition visits. Where this is an integral part of the course, your tutor will discuss the arrangements with you during your induction.
