This intensive yet fun one-day course will continue to further develop your skills in using Photoshop to 'develop' your digital photographs.

What the course is about

This course - which is delivered in two half-day sessions -  will provide the opportunity for photographers to further develop their skills with Photoshop software. The course will show how to:




  • Expand your knowledge and proficiency in using Photoshop to enhance photographic images

  • Extend your skills to correct your images to get the best effect

  • Further explore core Photoshop techniques



All our courses are made up of elements of speaking & listening, reading and writing, and you will work using these elements throughout the course. Some of the skills you gain on this course could help increase your opportunities for employment or working within the community. Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people. Practice at home and completion of homework is advisable to enhance your learning experience. 



This course builds on the skills developed in Introduction to Photoshop Part 1.

This course follows on from our Introduction to Photoshop Part 1 course.



 



 

Assessment of progress, tests, exams

Your tutor will work with you to review your progress towards achieving your goals during the session.



There is no qualification or examination attached to this course.

Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

This workshop is aimed primarily at the needs of digital photographers who have completed Photoshop Part 1 or have the equivalent experience.

Materials and costs

You will need a notebook, pen and A4 folder. Prior to the first session your tutor may contact you regarding additional materials to bring if possible.

Home study: you will be required to do significant study at home between sessions to assist with your learning and progress.

Proof of identity: please bring photographic ID and your National Insurance number with you to your first session. You will also need to provide it for any external examinations you take.

Off-site activities: with some courses, there may be the opportunity for off-site enrichment activities at additional cost, for example: gallery, museum or exhibition visits. Where this is an integral part of the course, your tutor will discuss the arrangements with you during your induction.
