You don’t need to have any drawing skills or special equipment to start doodling - you just need a pen and a piece of paper and the support of a specialist teacher.
The goal is to slow down and focus on the act itself. In other words the process of doodling is the important thing not the end result.
During this course you will be:
- Introduced to and explore mindfulness techniques.
- Start to draw simple lines and shapes to create doodles.
- Understand how to use doodling to focus on the present and calm the mind.
This course offers an avenue for creative pursuits, increasing your health and well-being. The friendly classroom environment is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.
All our courses are made up of elements of speaking & listening, reading and some writing, and you will work using these elements throughout the course.
This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
