Our expanded art and craft programme is where you can start a new hobby, learn a new skill and meet new people. These courses are for complete beginners and for those who have some experience who wish to continue learning in a group setting.
Family Learning benefits the whole family with many Children Centres and schools reporting improvements in children’s learning when families have attended. Some courses are designed to support adults learn together with their children whilst others focus on parents and carers.
A one day course essential for those who are preparing, handling and serving food. You will improve your acquisition of skills for training, employment or self employment and may help support your participation in community volunteering, civic engagement and social integrations.
We have a wide range of interesting subjects such available such as creative writing, photography and mindfulness. If you are interested in these or similar subjects then our general interest courses could be for you. You can directly enrol onto these courses.
Our language programme can enable you to start learning a new language, develop your knowledge about another country and culture and meet new people. These courses are for complete beginners and for those who have some experience and wish to continue learning in a group setting.
Having first-aid provision in the workplace is a legal requirement, with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requiring “employers to provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and people so employees can be given immediate help if they are injured or taken ill at work.”
This fantastic programme of highly subsidised courses are developed for the over 60s with priority given to those who are living alone.
Come along and develop a new interest, begin a new hobby and make new friends. These courses are very popular so early booking is recommended.

With this in mind, Skills & Learning have developed LivingWell Hubs in key locations across the county. The Hubs run weekly and attendance is completely FREE of charge.
