Undertaking a beauty and therapies course is a great way to open a world of opportunity. We offer courses covering all things beauty – from facials and eyelash lifting to manicures.
Enrolling on these courses will allow you to find new skills, learn new techniques and gain up to date industry standard knowledge. Many of our learners go on to work in the beauty industry following gaining qualifications ranging from level 1 to level 3. Our tutors are fully qualified and well experienced to create a supportive environment, and we also have a dedicated careers team to support you and your journey into work.

Our beauty and therapies courses are a great way to find a new passion, discover new job prospects or build on your existing skills. Beauty therapy skills and specialities include massage, skin care, nail care and cosmetics
What does a beauty therapy course entail?
We offer many different courses for training in specialist areas of beauty and therapies including, Beauty Specialist Techniques, Nail Treatment, Nail Technology, Massage and Sports Massage. Depending on which course you choose you will study: the theory of treatments, health and safety, correct hygiene practices and the techniques and practical application of your chosen course.
The course involves practical study in one of our Training Salons in Bournemouth and Poole, studying weekly with a class, dedicated tutor and support staff. Some courses also involve some home study.
How long is a beauty therapy course?
Depending on the subject area and level you choose to study, our courses are between 13 and 35 weeks. Shorter courses include the Level 1 Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector. Longer, specialist courses including Level 3 Massage, and Level 3 Sports Massage are held once a week for 30 weeks. The Level 2 Beauty Specialist course is held two days a week over 34 weeks, and Liquid and Powder Nail Enhancements is 1 day a week for 34 weeks.
What does beauty therapy include?
A beauty and therapies course allows you to gain the necessary practical skills and knowledge to provide beauty treatments and therapies and open the door to employment in the industry or to start your own business. Our tutors can give you industry specific experience and knowledge. All learners gain real life salon experience using professional products, a great foundation for further study or work in the sector.

How do I enrol?
1. Once you know you would like to study beauty and therapies with us, please book yourself an admission session. This is a chance for us to meet you, assess your current working level and ensure you are placed on the best course for you.
2. After your admission session, we will offer you a place on a course best suited to your ability. You can then enrol for this online. We will try our best to offer you a course at a convenient time and place for you based on your needs.
