Developing Work Skills at Skills & Learning

If you are currently unemployed, and looking for work, it can be difficult to navigate your way around the current job market, understanding the skills and attributes that employers are looking for. Demonstrating them in a job interview can be even more daunting. Here at Skills and Learning we offer programmes in CV writing, job applications and interviews where you gain these and additional skills alongside fellow job seekers. You can also improve your confidence, gain qualifications and receive practical advice to support you back in to work.

We can also offer you course advice from our Information and Guidance Advisors as well as more in-depth careers advice with our partner organisation the National Careers Service. Find out more here.

We also offer courses and support for those already in employment who would like to develop their skills. From maths and English to industry specific qualifications, learning can help you develop confidence and independence.
