Family Learning
Our fully funded Family Learning courses are a great chance to learn something new and support your family. They are designed for parents, carers or grandparents of school age children.
What is Family Learning?
Family Learning supports the wellbeing and development of families and children from Early Years Foundation stage right through to Key Stage 3. We offer a range of courses, including Autism Awareness, Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour, and Supporting your Child’s Mental Health.
Our courses are designed to support the learning and wellbeing of not just the child but the whole family. It has long been recognised that achievement by parents and carers often has the effect of raising aspirations across the whole family and can greatly help the development of children.
We work in partnership with Schools, Children’s Centres, Housing Associations and similar community groups to design bespoke, needs led community provision. Please contact us If you are an organisation who would like to work with us.
During the school holidays, we also offer free workshops as part of the Healthy Activities and Food programme, (HAF) to help support you and your child. Find out more here.
