Level 1
Award in Mental Health Awareness – TQUK Award
An introductory course providing knowledge about how to define mental health, basic causes of mental-ill health and the impact that mental health issues can have on an individuals life.
Level 2
Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems. NCFE CACHE
A qualification that is designed for anyone looking to develop their understanding of mental health, the causes of mental illness and how to support individuals with mental health issues. This course covers a range of mental health issues, common treatments that are used and the professional support that is available.
Level 3
Certificate in Understanding Mental Health. NCFE CACHE
A qualification to increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health and mental wellbeing. This course allows you to explore issues in more depth and compare and contrast key ideas including the history of how mental health services have changed, key legislation, public attitudes and perceptions and the roles of professionals.
Level 1
Mental Health First Aid
An internationally recognised course, teaching people how to spot signs and symptoms of mental illness and how to provide help.
Level 2
Awareness of Mental Health
A short course that increases awareness of different mental health conditions.
Level 3
WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)
A two-hour workshop that explains how to promote positive mental health and maintain wellbeing.
