Children and Young People’s Workforce – Introduction

This course covers the basic aspects of children’s development in relation to welfare, care, behaviour, and learning. You will develop your knowledge and understanding in relation to pupil welfare, care, behaviour and learning.

You will explore the following subjects; children and young person development, contribute to the support of child and young person development, safeguarding, health and safety, communications and relationships and equality and diversity. 

Early Years Practitioner – NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma 

This qualification will provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age with applied knowledge in the early years, 0-5 years. 

This is a two-year course and with the other learners in your class, you will develop skills and knowledge relating to working with children between birth and 5 years, and gain knowledge of working with children up to 7 years.
